How To Make A Monogram On Cricut + Free Sunflower SVG

Sunflower SVG files are really popular lately. Especially when you couple it with a monogram file type. This free sunflower cut file also features an area for you to slice your monogram into. Just load it into Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio (if you use silhouette) and become your own monogram maker machine.

Although my sunflower SVG is free, it is not commercially licensed. If you need a commercial license you can grab 1 by clicking the link at the top of this page and visiting my shop.

I searched but I wasn’t able to find any font monograms in Cricut Design Space. But I like the font I chose better anyway.

This Circle Monogram font includes commercial license (make sure to read all of the details on the site). And also it allowed me to make a custom monogram without having to pay for Cricut Access.

How To Make A Monogram On Cricut + Free Sunflower SVG

Grab my Free sunflower SVG. And while you're here you can also learn in this step by step tutorial how to make a monogram on your Cricut.


  1. Fill out the form above to have the Cricut Sunflower SVG sent to your email. Download and unzip the free sunflower svg, or whatever svg you are using.
  2. Upload the SVG into Cricut Design Space or Silhouette studio (if you’re using a Silhouette). Click on upload in the left panel and then click browse. cricut upload screen
  3. To do this, find the file on your computer. I like to use the search bar and type in the keyword of the file I am searching for. mac finder window
  4. Select and click on the file to bring it in to Cricut Design Space. mac finder window opening a file
  5. You will get an error message, you can ignore it. The message is because the text shown is just a place holder. cricut design space error message
  6. Select the type tool and type out the initials you are going to use. With this font type each letter in its own layer. cricut design space with 1 letter typed on a canvas and free sunflower svg
  7. Select the font from your list of fonts and search for your monogram font, (Circle Monogram Font is my favorite) I like to just type the word circle to find it. cricut fonts drop down It will show left right and center. Choose the monogram letter accordingly.
  8. Adjust them using the align tool at the top toolbar of your Cricut Design Space. aligning letters in cricut design space
  9. Weld together and resize them to fit into the brown circle of the sunflower SVG file. Welded text for monogram in cricut Design space
  10. Once you have them resized, ungroup the flower and select the monogram and the center of the flower and click slice. Getting ready to slice in cricut design space
  11. Get rid of the fonts you don’t want. hollowed center of a cricut monogram You can either choose to keep the hollowed-out center or the letters. letters for a monogram
  12. Resize to fit what you are putting it on. Load onto your mat and into your cutting machine.

I see your video on the shirt U made Strong woman come in all sizes, Shapes, & Colors. It doesn’t show how U made the color letter just U Pealing N putting them on the shirt. Lydia
