In this video, I walk you through how to pull a basic image from a Google search and how to use it properly in Adobe Illustrator, how to create SVG files, and How To Make SVG files so you can use it in Cricut Design Space.
Also, I talk about how you can take an image that is in multiple pieces and mold them together so when you go to move your image you don’t have 30 different pieces to work with, you have one solid image.
All of these steps are very easy to do once you learn how to navigate and use Adobe Illustrator and you will know how to create SVG files.
SVG stands for scalable vector image. Which is what Cricut users need to use to upload their own design files to upload into Cricut Design Space.

Whether it is making coasters, prints for a backdrop image or more. I like to make vector designs that I can resize as big or as small as I want them without losing quality, so it was a necessity to learn how to make SVG files.
The options are endless and you will get that store quality that will make your products stand out from the rest.
There are many image formats that you may start with and the quality is going to depend on the starting image size or file size.
