    DIY Bath Bombs

    DIY Bath Bombs

When asked the question #WhatMatterstoU during that time of the month, the first thing I think of is trying to find some kind of peace and relaxation from the horrible side effects of having been born a woman. With our menstrual cycle, we are faced with a boat load of emotions, cramps, irritability, mood swings and I could go on but I won't.

I usually need to get my brain turned off and just go to a quiet and happy place. and what better way to do that then in a nice hot tub. The warm water alone eases the pain of cramps and relaxes, but I tend to go a step further, I like to throw in a bath bomb.

    DIY Bath bomb

I like to DIY my bath bombs, and I like to make them with lavender and chamomile tea. Why? Well, chamomile has soothing qualities, moisturises and has healing qualities, while lavender essential oils help to eliminate nervous tension, relieve pain, and enhance blood circulation, not to mention it smells amazing!

They are fairly easy to make, the hardest part was finding the citric acid (with the canning supplies) and a bath bomb mold (I was being difficult, lol they don't have to be round). But I found a half circle pan and used that, you can make them any shape, with any mold.

Print a shopping list for the bombs.

While I was at Walmart picking up the ingredients for my bath bombs because Walmart has virtually everything, I stopped by the feminine care aisle and grabbed the new Style N' Store pack, they are pretty cool. With 4 different designs and they even have a built-in drawer, it comes in pretty handy.

That DIY bath bomb is awesome! I love bath bombs, and usually buy them from Lush, but they're SO expensive... I'll have to try this out, it'll be a fun little project! And I love U by Kotex, their packaging makes it fun!

I love the bath bomb idea. It is nice to relax in a hot tub, when you are cramping. I am going to have to check out those awesome deals on Kotex too. Thanks!

I love bath bombs, although I haven't had a long, luxurious bath in a very long time. I'm definitely going to make these.

Bath bombs are awesome, although I've never really tried making one at home. I'm sure my daughters would love to try this and thanks for the heads up on those Kotex pads!

It's nice how they're individually wrapped so they can be tossed in a purse. They have pretty much any feminine need covered.
