How To Apply Eyeliner
Applying eyeliner and mascara are probably 2 of the most uncomfortable things to learn to apply. Mascara is a little easier. Having a beauty background I have worked with a lot of estheticians over the years, and was able to pick up a few things from them as far as mascara and making it look thicker and fuller. But when it comes to eyeliner, I always know how I want it to look bet it never can get it right. Either the line is too thick, or shaky or any number of other things that make me start all over and eliminate the liner all together.
So I found this video and realized that I am not getting the results I want because my hand is not stable. Everything is just kind of all over the place lol. I usually try to hold the pencil and not rest my hand anywhere which causes my line to be unstable or inconsistent.
Even though the end result wasn't exactly what I was going for, I think it turned out pretty good. I learned the hard way that the water line trick she shows in the video, should really be done with a pencil that doesn't have a lot of wood around the tip.
I love eye makeup so I will definitely keep working at it. Hey, maybe I'll get good enough to do my own tutorials.
My favorite brand of eye makeup is elf. I think it is an awesome brand and I absolutely love the brushes. The prices are amazing also, I have seen stuff as low as $1.99 and the great thing is the colors are great on darker skin like mine. I would love to hear of any eyeliner tips if you have some, just leave them in the comment section.
