Instant Pot Pizza Pull Apart Bread
I saw a post in a group on Facebook that asked if you could do Instant Pot Pizza pull apart bread, I saw it and accepted the challenge. The results were amazing!
I don’t have the small bundt pan yet, so I used my springform pan with a heat-safe bowl in the middle.

The thing I kept reading was that this needed a dry heat that you get from a conventional oven and that the Instant Pot would be too moist. However because I had already done this Apple Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread, I knew that this was completely doable.

So for this challenge. This was super simple to make and my kids loved it. I should have listened months ago when I was told to get me a pressure cooker and start making recipes because now I just want to cook everything in my instant pot!

If you don’t have one yet, you better hop on board! Especially if you are a busy mom like me, you need one. Check out more Instant Pot Recipes here.

Hi! Would love to make this but not sure what you mean when cutting the pizza dough. Do you have separate pieces of dough? Then it is all mix together? Look forward to hearing from you.
Yes you cut the dough into squares. That’s how you make it “pull apart “
What size can of pizza dough did you use? Pillsbury comes in 13.8 ounce tubes, from the refrigererated section.
Those are the ones I got
I did 10 min and the dough was still wet and raw. My manual button doesn’t allow for temp adjust. Any suggestions
What do you mean? Like you can’t do manual high?
If I use the manual setting I can’t adjust for low med or high.
Doesn’t it default to high? I usually just hit manual and it’s already set to high.
I assumed manual just meant high, as well. I’ll try it again, won’t cross it off my list just yet.
When you first turn it in hit pressure and the arrow button for either low or high then when you hit manual it should be on high pressure
Do you have to have the bowl in the middle? I cook this in the oven and as long as I don’t pile it on in the middle it usually turns out great!
Yes I added the bowl to keep the middle from falling in. I hadn’t gotten my bundt pan yet.
Do you put the bundt pan right on the water or do you put a trivit in first?
On a trivit
Do you cover it with foil?
You can. But I didnt
Against my better judgment, I went ahead and made this anyway. Sure enough, the end result was to be expected. Raw and mushy. Doesn’t matter where you live, what altitude you’re in, etc…. This doesn’t work in the Instant Pot. I see from your picture that you used the oven to brown the top; you don’t mention that in the recipe instructions.
I didn’t use an oven to brown and it does work.. Which the post proves… It has been made before, by others with no issue. And yes altitude will have an effect on cooking results
What size IP do you use and what size was the spring form pan.?? I have all the ingredients but pans too large for my 8 quart IP. So have to go out and buy something that will work. Yours looks nice and crispy..not sure I can achieve that without oven..but will experiment.
I have a 6 qt and I use a 7 inch spring form
Are you using a standard non-instant pot made spring form pan inside your IP?
No the inner pot of the Instant pot is 8.66″, leaves plenty of room. Most I have seen used are 7″
Silly me. I bought all ingredients then discovered I have no spring form or bundt pans that will fit into my instapot- any idea what oven temp and time to use for conventional cooking?
I have a 6 qt any 7 inch should fit you can also use a 7 cup oven safe Pyrex bowl.
I do not have a bundt or springform pan. Can I use a cake pan?
If it fits. Anything oven safe.
Can I use fresh pizza dough like from Publix?
Do I mix the dough with all of the ingredients. No sauce added to the dough? What makes it look reddish brown then?
Does the dough rise or is it a flat pizza with double dough layers?
Thanks!
Excited to make this tomorrow!
I used a cake pan. I had to cook on manual high pressure for 20 minutes to get the dough in the middle done.
