Finding a good recipe online and bookmarking it is one way to save it, but I prefer to write them down on recipe cards. This printable recipe card is the perfect place to jot them down.

Using this free recipe card will allow you to prepare for how long the recipe will take, what you will need, and other tips and tricks for completing the recipe.

It is also the perfect way to organize your recipes. Once you have it downloaded and printed, you will be ready to write down your favorite recipe.

You may be thinking, “Where the heck am I supposed to keep all of these beautiful recipe cards?” And the answer to that question is super simple.

Check out this Recipe Binder that you can store the cards in. It contains different categories and also comes with some recipes for you to try.

I prefer a recipe binder over a recipe box because they look more organized.

I love that both of these templates have the same color scheme. It just shows that they are meant to go together.

It may seem like a lot, but the best part is that they are both free! No need to spend money on a template that doesn’t look quite as pretty as this recipe card design.

What I love about recipe cards is that it makes passing down and sharing recipes extremely easy. No more sending links that don’t work or have been taken down.

Once you have a recipe on one of these cards, you will be able to access it forever, just don’t lose them. I also like to take pictures of my recipe cards, in case it does happen to get misplaced.

But that is why the Recipe Binder is such a good idea. You will not have to worry about misplacing one small card when everything is all in one place.

I don’t know if you know this, but there is a “Holy Trinity” of recipe saving, and these are the three things.

    • Recipe Binder
    • Meal Planner
    • Recipe Card

With the help of these three things, you will be able to plan and store all of your meals and plans in one place without worry about losing them.

You will also be able to better plan your grocery trips because you will know exactly what you will need for your meals each week. And all of this is free for you!

Being organized and staying ahead of everything is important when it comes to budgeting and just being successful. These tools allow you to do it for free.

Another thing I like about these free printable recipe cards is that it gives you a space for extra notes about this recipe. This can really come in handy in the future.

If you are sharing a recipe, the person will easily be able to see any tricks you have to get the best outcome. Maybe you write something like “only whisk for three minutes” or “leave in the oven for an extra five”.

All of the little notes will be so helpful when you make the recipe in the future or you share it with someone else. I personally love looking at old recipe cards that my grandma has given me.
