You're not going to find a more fun weeknight meal the kids can make than this quick and easy taco pizza recipe. It's moist, but got a good body and so full of flavor--I just need another slice immediately.
The best part of this homemade taco pizza recipe is that it's simple enough that the kids can totally make this all by themselves almost (still kinda nervous about letting them put stuff in the oven, you know? but other than that). So you know what that means?
"Kid's choice" night is now "kid's make" night! Woohoo!

Seriously, what with all the downtime we have had together as a family lately, the kids are learning a lot about how to cook and all that.
And one of the things they like is putting together these fun combinations like taco pizza that maybe mamma doesn't serve all the time, right?

And I definitely don't toss crushed chips on top of pizza on the regular, so the kids really enjoyed having this taco pizza recipe as an option. Who doesn't love tossing chips on a pizza?!
Also, who doesn't love Mexican pizza?! This is seriously kid stuff. LOL!

Ok. So let's get crazy here. If you're making this awesome taco pizza recipe with the kids, you don't need to do much. Even younger kiddos can cut veggies with a butter knife.
So, what I did was simple: I just printed out this great recipe for this taco pizza (there's a handy button on the recipe card below) and then walked the kids through what to do.

When they ran into any trouble with their taco pizza (the dough wouldn't stay in place and the whole oven thing I mentioned), I just stepped in to help for a moment, then pulled back out and sat at the bar to supervise.
So, what I'm trying to say is: let the kids roll with it. Good activity for a weeknight meal you'll all love.
