This easy green breakfast smoothie is going to be your new favorite way to start the day. Smoothies have been shown to improve energy and help you curb hunger between meals.
Whether you opt to start your day with this green breakfast smoothie or enjoy it in the middle of the day to curb hunger for a quick snack, this recipe is going to become your new favorite weight loss smoothie option.
I generally keep my pulp from juicing fruits and veggies in the freezer in sandwich baggies for really quick morning smoothies and also I don't like to put ice in them because I feel like they end up too watery so when I freeze the fruit it's my ice substitute.
I also use my Nutri Ninja® Auto-iQ™ Compact System to make my smoothies and tons more like these Oreo Cookie Rolls, Low Carb Chicken Feta Pizza With Cauliflower Crust recipe and Gluten Free Southwest Chipotle Sweet Potato Veggie Burger recipe.
This Nutri Ninja is my favorite because of the large blender attachment, along with the cup attachments. You also have the option to chop, extract or blend, all great options for recipes.
How do you store smoothies
Smoothies are best when they're enoyed fresh but if you have some leftover, you need to keep it stored in the fridge until you're ready to consume.
Just be certain that you stir it and mix it up a bit again when you're ready to drink!
What else can I add to smoothies?
Literally anything that you want. Kale, superfoods, protein powder...you name it. Just be certain to add in whatever you need for your body or be aware of ingredients that you're adding to stay on track with your healthy eating.
Breakfast smoothies are super popular because they're so versatile in what you can add to them.
I use it for a lot of recipes. If you enjoy smoothies this is a great blender to have. This is a really easy and filling breakfast smoothie. Check out the recipe below and make sure to click the Yum and also to pin it so you can make it later.
