When your body goes into ketosis, it will stop burning carbs and start burning fat instead. This will allow you to lose body fat quicker than if you were to be burning carbs.
It is important to keep up regular exercise when you are on a keto diet as well as drink plenty of water. You want to take care of your body when eating foods like the keto everything bagel.
When your body first goes in ketosis, your blood sugar may drop and your ketone levels will rise. After a while, as your body starts burning the ketones for fuel, your ketones will level out.
A keto diet is still completely healthy! Some may be alarmed by the sound of your body going into ketosis but studies have proven that it is not harmful to your body.
When your body first goes into ketosis, you may experience what people call the "keto flu". This is just your body's initial response to carb withdrawal.
This usually kicks in after the first 24-48 hours of being on a keto diet. The keto flu usually lasts for a few days to a few weeks and you will experience common flu symptoms.
Do not worry or stress when you find yourself exhibiting some of these keto flu symptoms. It is completely normal and is just your body's way of adjusting your delicious keto everything bagel.
