    Co-Washing With #Pantene Smooth & Sleek Conditioner

This post was sponsored by Pantene and Walmart, however, all opinions are my own.Pantene Smooth & Sleek Conditioner I have been co-washing my hair for about 6 years now. The idea of a co wash is to avoid stripping your hair of the naturally produced sebum that comes from our hair. My hair is extremely curly and anyone with curly hair knows it is very naturally dry anyway and shampoos, sometimes strip out the natural moisture leaving it too dry for even conditioner to fix.

I was brought up thinking that water was the devil when it came to my hair. That the water was what was causing my hair to be dry, frizzy and unmanageable. When in reality it is just the opposite. Water is my friend.

There were too many rules when I was doing research on co-washing and anyone that knows me, knows that I am a habitual rule breaker, and when it comes to routines, I march to the beat of my own drum.Pantene Smooth & Sleek Conditioner

When choosing a conditioner to try for the first time, I look for water to be the first ingredient, I know I will probably get some flack for my next statement, but I don't pay a lot of attention to the other ingredients, if it has water as the first ingredient (the first ingredient is usually what the product has the most of) and it smells good and it says it's going to do what I need it to, then I want to try it.

One thing I have learned through my "process" is that you do not want a conditioner that builds up on your hair.

Water has enough alkalinity to cleanse the hair when rinsed right and if the hair isn't entirely disgusting.

Pantene Smooth & Sleek Conditioner is light enough to not weigh my hair down but heavy enough to keep my hair moisturized. As you can see, it did wonders as far as moisture, my curls are more defined and my hair does not look dry. I love this Pantene Smooth & Sleek Conditioner. Pantene Smooth & Sleek Conditioner

    My routine:

Rinse thoroughly, you need to make sure to saturate the hair. How long depends on how long and thick your hair is.

    Squeeze out the excess water.

    Apply conditioner.

    Wash My Body.

    Rinse Conditioner.

    Super easy right?

Now a question for you. Have you ever tried a co-wash? If so what is your routine? If not what do you do to make sure your hair stays soft and moisturized?

I get Pantene for the whole family. It's great stuff, and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

I've always been a fan of Pantene, and we buy the big bottles from Costco. I've tried many shampoos and conditioners and Pantene seems to make my hair the smoothest and softest.

I do love a hair product that doesn't weigh down my hair. That is a big reason I love Pantene.

I have heard a lot of people talk about co-washing. I have long curly hair and it definitely is dry... its probably mt shampoo!!! I'm going to try this next time I wash my hair.

I'm not a fan of the 'co-wash' thing to be honest, and most hairdressers I have come in contact with both blogging and where I frequent said I do not need to be doing that. I have very fine hair and I try not to way it down, and I am also very mindful of what I use in my hair because I like to wear it straight and sometimes flat iron it when I am going somewhere special and don't want to take chances with the humidity that day!

Pantene is a great hair product and we have been using it for years. I love the formulation they use for their conditioners. It does not leave my hair limp.

Wow - you got really awesome results! I can only use conditioner every few days because my hair gets too oily but I'm going to try this the next time I need both shampoo and conditioner!

I've been a fan of Pantene for a long time. Although I've not used their products in some time. I might have to make a purchase and add them into our hair routine again.

Wow, huge difference in the before and after. I like Pantene, always have. I do trade out from time to time just because my hairdresser said to not just use one product all the time...not really sure why though.

Pantene is a brand that my mother has always relied on over the years. I have never co-washed with Pantene, but there is a co-washing brand that I have been using lately. I have found many shampoos to be too harsh for my hair, including the ones that are touted as all natural and organic. So, I have found this to be the best answer for my hair.
