How do you know that potatoes are done cooking?
The easiest way to check on the doneness of the potatoes is to poke them with a fork. If the potatoes are tender, they're done. If the potatoes are hard to pierce with a fork, they need more time to cook.
Do you peel your potatoes for a shrimp boil?
I don't! I just make certain that I clean them really well so that I don't have to worry about dirt and grime. You can peel them if you're really worried about it but I've found that I like the skin on because it also holds the potato chunks together quite well, too.
How do you know if you've overcooked shrimp?
Once shrimp starts to turn pink and form into a C it is time to remove it.
How to store leftover shrimp boil foil packs?
You can place the leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge. I like to remove it from the foil, but you can also leave it and throw it in the air fryer or oven to reheat.
