DIY Time Out Bottle
If you have little ones then you know that 75% of the day is either spent counting or putting the kids in time out.. And if you are like me then it gets difficult to keep the time straight and keep them from acting out more.
The perfect solution is these DIY Time Out Bottle. They are very simple to make. All you need is paint, mineral oil, glitter and a plastic water bottle.
These DIY Time Out Bottles are great for time outs because they are visually stimulating and it allows you to properly time the time out.
Here is how to make them.
Fill your bottle ¼ to half way with water
squirt a little paint into it, you can also use food coloring, but I used what I had on hand replace
replace cap and shake to mix the color.
Fill the rest of the way with mineral oil, add glitter. Shake well for time outs and allow them to settle to act as a timer.
