Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can 15 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1 can 14.5 oz petit diced tomatoes
  • 32 oz beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 16-ounce bowtie pasta

Toppings

  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Ricotta Cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Fresh Basil & Parsley

Instructions

  1. Over medium-high heat cook the ground beef till it's no longer pink and drain.
  2. Put the meat into the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add all of the other ingredients except the pasta and cover.
  4. Cook on high for 3 hours.
  5. Add pasta into the crockpot and stir well, cook another 30 minutes until the pasta is aldente.
  6. Serve with garlic bread and salad.
