Air Fryer Baked Potato
When I got my air fryer, I went searching for recipes that I could make that I wanted to make more healthy. Removing the grease from foods also makes the air fryer that much more appealing.
The love for the air fryer really started when I made air fryer baked potatoes. I make so many meals with potatoes and also use potatoes as the main dish. In the air fryer, they definitely get cooked more solidly all the way through than guessing in the oven.
Wondering what kind of potatoes are the best for baking? The high starch content in russet potatoes makes them your best choice.
You will be able to season the potatoes any way that you would like as well. I love being able to try different combinations of seasonings.
From spicy to just some salt and pepper, whatever your taste buds desire can be done with a potato.
Typically, I used to not eat the skins of baked potatoes. Now that the air fryer makes the skins super crunchy and flavorful, I definitely do!
The skin gives so many nutrients that you may not even know about. You may just become addicted to the skins of these air fryer potatoes.
With so many flavorful choices to put a rub on them, eating potatoes has never been so fun.

Baked potatoes are so simple and take minimal effort for an amazing tasting meal.
Just a little tip, which I am sure if you love potatoes, you do anyway. Make sure to wash your potatoes by scrubbing the skins first.
This ensures that you are eating clean skin. You will definitely want to eat the crispy skin off of the air fryer baked potatoes.
Another tip that I learned when I was a lot younger is to poke holes into the skin so that some of the heat and air can be released.
Scary to think that if you don’t your potato might explode. Or this is the myth. So I have always just poked those holes.
Put some oil on the outside and then get to work adding your favorite spices and seasonings. Get creative! I hope that you love these air fryer baked potatoes as much as my family and I do.
