How To Make Delicious Walnut Brownies With Cherries
Once you have made these scrumptious walnut brownies with cherries for the first time, it will be the only way you make brownies. Chocolate and cherries are a mix that is to die for!
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 300gr sugar
- 270 g Dark Chocolate
- 125 g butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1
- 190 g flour
- ½ teaspoon of salt. (sea salt would be the more sensible choice)
- 100 g White Chocolate (I put it inside of the brownie, but it is optional)
- 50 g Cherries (Depends on which fruit you prefer.)
Instructions
- Beat 4 eggs and sugar in a bowl until they turn white and fluff.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and pour 270g of chocolate into it and mix until getting a smooth consistency.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture little by little. (Be careful, chocolate is hot, we do not want to cook the eggs.)
- Add the vanilla extract.
- After mixing well, sift the flour into the mixture slowly. (make sure to mix with a spatula instead of a mixer in this step)
- Add the salt.
- Add the crushed walnuts and mix.
- Put your baking sheet into the square mold and pour ¾ of the mixture into it. Here you can optionally add white chocolate. Pour the rest of the mixture and spread it to cover the white chocolate.
- Bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Since every oven is not the same, check from the 15th minute. (It was cooked for 25 minutes in my oven)
- After your Brownie is cooked, take it and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Decorate the top of the brownie with Cherries.
