Fried Oreos in the air fryer is an amazing recipe. That's because it puts an amazing spin on a classic snack. Just follow this easy air fryed oreo recipe and I promes you will not be dissapointed.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- Sprinkle of flour for work surface
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 9 chocolate sandwich cookies
- 2 additional chocolate sandwich cookies, cream removed and crushed
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees F (if preheating is required).
- Prepare the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray.
- Prepare work surface with flour.
- Lay out puff pastry onto work surface.
- Using a lightly floured rolling pin, gently roll out puff pastry sheet until slightly stretched.
- Using a basting brush, brush butter onto both sides of puff pastry sheet.
- Lay cookies onto puff pastry sheet, about an inch apart.
- Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 9 equal pieces.
- Bring corners of puff pastry pieces up around the top of the cookie and press. Do this a second time, then repeat with the rest of the cookies.
- Place in air fryer basket with space between each one.
- At 375 degrees, bake cookies for 4 minutes, flip and bake for an additional 4 minutes.
- Remove from basket and allow to cool for 3 minutes.
- Dust heavily with powdered sugar.
- Crumble crushed cookies over the top and serve.
