Instant Pot Monkey Bread is one of my favorite things. Monkey bread is an easy recipe already but pressure cooking makes it even easier!

This Instant pot monkey bread recipe is a favorite in our home, we make this a lot on lazy Saturday mornings and sometimes when we want a quick and easy dessert.

Homemade Caramelized Apple Monkey Bread

This simple recipe came about because I decided that I try to convert my Apple Monkey Bread to a pressure cooker recipe

Ingredient List For This Easy Monkey Bread Recipe

  • Pillsbury Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls
  • Green Apple
  • White Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Melted butter

I prefer to use unsalted butter for my pull-apart bread. But this is a personal preference and you can use salted if you prefer it for this quick breakfast.

How To Make A Foil Sling

The sling is made from a long strip of foil. You will fold the aluminum foil in a way that makes it more sturdy and also make it fit into the bottom of pot. The foil strip is what you will use to pull out your bundt pan when you are ready to take out your bread.

This is what we all used in the past, but now they make slings like this one that make it even easier to pull out and to put onto a serving plate.

This bread is truly one of my favorite instant pot recipes to make and it is the perfect thing for a little treat for the kids.

  1. I made this for the first time and while yummy it was more doughy/a little watery…any thoughts on what I did incorrectly or differently?

    1. I’m not sure, mine was cooked through. Maybe try a litter longer next time, but I’m not sure what would cause cook times to have to be different… What size pan did you use. My spring form is not very deep, was yours?

          1. I live in Alberta, Canada. Don’t know about elevation or humidity, etc. I cooked it longer and it remained watery but instead of pull apart bread, I plan to warm it up and serve with ice cream. It’s more of a pie-type consistency.

  2. Do you have to use a spring form pan? Mine doesn’t fit into my Instant Pot. Can I just make this in the pot itself?

    1. I think it would scorch directly in the pot, you can use any oven safe dish that will fit in your pot. I have a Pyrex I use all the time.

  4. Mine was also runny and slightly under cooked although I added 5 extra minutes to the cook time after reading the comments before making. I returned to the pot and cooked an additional 5 minuets for a total of 30 minutes which seemed just right. I have a 6 quart size and used a stainless steel flat bottomed bowl which was the same size as a spring bottom pan. I will make again now I know the times that work for me. It is really good. 😀

  5. Cinnamon rolls… More cinnamon… Apples… I might be in love! Buying all the ingredients and will let the daycare kiddos get their hands dirty cooking and then eating!

  6. This was so yummy and easy!!! I used a 6qt duo w a small pan (from amazon) cooked on high pressure for 25min with QR. I left it to keep warm for 30min because I forgot about it. Naturally there was a lot of condensation and I was worried about it being “too wet” like some of the reviews had said. Pulled it out and went to the pool. When I got back it was perfect. I cut a big chunk out of it and stuck it in the oven to warm back up. I served it warm with some icing dipping sauce. It was delicious 😋 thanks for this winning recipe!
