What Do I Need To Make This Strawberry Mousse Cheesecake Recipe

This is one of those simple cheesecake recipes that you’re going to have to make and believe. I recommend that you verify that you have all the ingredients needed to get started because you don’t want to have to stop halfway through!

Here are the ingredients that you’ll need to make this easy mousse cheesecake:

  • graham cracker crumbs
  • sugar
  • salted butter
  • strawberry flavored gelatin
  • boiling water
  • cream cheese, at room temperature
  • granulated sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • evaporated milk

Once you have the ingredients, you’re well on your way to getting started. I promise you that this cheesecake recipe is too good to pass up!

What thickens cheesecake?

If you want to make the cheesecake filling thicker, this is where the gelatin comes into play. You’re going to want to add the amount of gelatin that the recipe calls for, and then if you want to add more, you can.

Is this a no-bake cheesecake?

Technically, yes. While you are baking the crust to make it hard and firm, you’re actually not baking this cheesecake recipe at all.

That means that it’s light and airy and quick!

Can you freeze Mousse?

Yes, you can freeze mousse and cheesecake, both! That means that if you have any of this strawberry cheesecake recipe leftover, you can add some and save it in the freezer.

All you have to do is be sure that it’s in an airtight container and you’re good to go.

To unthaw and enjoy, just move the cheesecake to the fridge and give it a few hours.

Can I add other fruit to the top of this cheesecake?

Yes, any type of fresh fruit will make a great topping for this cheesecake. I like to use sliced strawberries since I’m using strawberry gelatin but you can use fresh blueberries or even raspberries as well.

If you don’t have fresh fruit, frozen fruit that is thawed and drained of excess water work really great for toppings, too.

And don’t forget the added whipped cream!
