Three of my favorite things came together today and made the most beautiful food baby I have ever tasted... This Instant Pot Cheesy Salsa Taco Pasta was possibly the best thing I had eaten all year, AND the kids loved it. This Cheesy Taco Pasta will make your head spin, with how easy it is to make and how delicious it is. 

Of course, I consider anything with pasta a comfort food and this taco pasta recipe is absolutely no different. I mean what's more comfortable than al dente elbows, with homemade taco seasoning and of course cheese. I guarantee that this is one that your family loves.

Cheesy Salsa Taco Pasta

One of the most popular recipes on my blog is an uber easy kid-friendly recipe, my Instant Pot Cheeseburger Macaroni Hamburger Helper and I was thinking to my self, self you need more like that, and not just because your readers love it, but also because you are a mom who needs more simple recipes... And simple is what I got with this Instant Pot  Cheesy Taco Pasta.

I used ground beef, but you can easily swap out the beef for ground turkey. Top this pasta with your favorite taco toppings, like sour cream, black beans, cilantro, jalapeno, whatever your body craves.

I went in and took a quick inventory of my kitchen and this Taco Pasta was born. This recipe makes a family of 4 at least 2 nights worth of dinner. Let me tell you that It didn't last here. My big kid kept going in for more of this yummy Instant Pot Cheesy Salsa Taco Pasta. And I didn't have the heart to say no lol.

Instant Pot Taco Pasta

Your days of pulling ou the large skillet and a pot to cook the pasta are over! Cook this cheesy taco pasta in your instant pot, you can even brown the meat till no longer pink, right in the same pot! This taco pasta recipe is a great way to make dinner tonight epic! You will have dinner ready and on the table for way under 30 minutes.

Instant Pot Cheesy Salsa Taco Pasta

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Shake up your next taco Tuesday with this Taco Pasta Recipe. Get the traditional flavor of tacos, but in an al dente pasta!

Ingredients

• 1 lb lean ground beef or ground turkey
• 16 oz package elbow macaroni, dry
• 2 cups chicken broth
• 1 tablespoon Franks Red Hot
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon dried cilantro flakes
• 1 teaspoon ground cumin
• 32 ozs your choice salsa, We like medium heat
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 16 oz shredded Mexican blend cheese
• 1 serving Homemade Taco Seasoning
• your favorite taco toppings

Instructions

1. Press saute and add ground beef or turkey, cilantro, cumin, and garlic.
2. Cook until no longer pink and crumbling as you go (see below for what I use to make cooking ground meats soooo easy).
3. Add all other ingredients except cheese, give it a good stir.
4. Put on, lock lid and close valve.
5. Press manual, cook 4 minutes on high and QR
6. Stir in the cheese allow to melt and serve with your favorite toppings
